​Human posture is collapsing at a rapid rate due to many epigenetic factors. Body movement and posture that promotes optimal cranio-facial growth and development is disappearing from the landscape that the infant is observing. When a baby scans the field using the Reticular Activating System of the brain in order to connect with what is 'known' at the level of DNA, it is usually not present.
So what does a baby do? They create safety through rapport by posturing themselves with what is around them. Physical rapport is a high form of safety creation. The thought being "If I look like you, I am one of the tribe and therefore more safe than if I did not look, move, breathe and speak like you."
